Our Background

Encase you missed our first post, here is a recap on who we are and what we are up to:
My name is Rachael, I am a custom home designer, which means I design the blueprints for new and existing homes, I help clients figure out how they are going to use their space, and what they want it to look like.  The disappointing things about my job is, I put all this work into helping clients design their dream home, but never getting to see it become a reality. There is so much that goes into the next step after we are done designing that I cant wait to learn about because now its my turn!  My husband and I decided to buy a fixer upper!  As a designer, I'm excited to see how it helps me grow and design better in the future!  But as the home owner, I am terrified of the problems that are bound to come up. Can we stay on Budget and still get the home of our dreams???  Our Advantage: My Husband, Mike, is a commercial general contractor. I know our combined skills are going to make this journey both easier and more challenging!  Check out our post to see how its been going!
